Christine Grew
Christine holds a first-class chemistry degree and a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry from the University of Bristol UK, a prize-winning executive MBA from Imperial College London and is experienced leading successful regulatory outcomes for Top-10 Pharma including AbbVie, AstraZeneca, Pfizer & Novo Nordisk.
Over her 20-year career in regulatory affairs, Christine has held various roles including heading AbbVie’s global clinical trial regulatory team, attended face-to-face meetings with regulators & also worked for contract manufacturers, research organisations and drug development consultancies.
Christine chairs the clinical trials special interest network for The Organisation of Professionals of Regulatory Affairs (TOPRA) and delivers specialist speaker engagements and technical training in regulatory affairs. Christine is a fractional chief regulatory officer for a start-up and was awarded TOPRA fellowship in 2024 for her distinguished contribution to regulatory affairs.
Her specialist areas of regulatory expertise are supporting sponsors navigating scientific advice with regulators, the EU Clinical Trial Regulation and/or regulatory requirements for clinical trials in US, Canada and other regions.
